Goodbye warm weather

Farewell Bear Lake! It was a good season up at Bear

Lake this year. As always, the lake was beautiful all

Summer long. It is bitter sweet to see summer

leave and winter come.

Although it is very peaceful up there in the winter it is

always sad to see the warm weather go.

Aside from all the fun we had it was also a very

productive summer for us. We (mostly Reed and Lisa)

built onto the cabin, adding three rooms, two bathrooms,

a garage, and even a lighthouse! The very same day that

we finished the addition, we hosted the 1st annual Rowland

family reunion. Although it was busy we had tons of fun.

We love the new and improved cabin, and we know

its going to get lots and lots of use in the years to come!

Newport Beach

Every year along with lots of friends and family, we take over the beach and take up residence in Newport Beach California for a whole week. It is such a fun tradition, and we all enjoy it so much. I hope this tradition goes on for years and years to come! Here are a couple pictures from the week. . . . . . (more pictures to come)

Here is a quick update......

Ryan and Katie are living right here in Salt Lake and loving life! They welcomed their first child into the family on Nov. 30th 2007. I really don't know what we did with ourselves before Olivia got here. She is such a joy to have in our family!

Lisa, after living in California for almost three years decided that she had enough sun in Cali. so she decided to move back home to Salt Lake. She is now working for Reed (being the bosses daughter definitely has its perks) And partying with friends and traveling as much as she can. More reports to come on her big trip to Ireland that she is planning for Feb!

Shannon, is trying to keep busy and have fun. She recently returned from Portland Oregon, where she attended a floral design institute. After Returning her business has really taken off, and she keeps herself very busy trying to provide beautiful flowers to weddings all over the city!

Lauren, is growing up so fast!!! She is a sophomore at Highland High, and is loving the high school lifestyle. She is always busy with something, whether it is hanging out with friends, cheering at a game, flirting with boys (this takes up most of her time), or just hanging out with the family. There is never a dull moment when you are with Lauren!
